Salsamás FAQ
1. How do I register for the courses?
We prefer registrations via the website. If it is not possible for you for technical reasons, please register by e-mail at [email protected].
2. How does registration via the website work?
If you are not yet registered on the Salsamás website, you will be asked to register when you register for the first course. Please fill out the form and send it off. You will then receive a confirmation link by email. Please click on the link and confirm your registration on the Salsamás homepage. You can then register for the courses on the website.
3. Do I need a dance partner?
Registration with a dance partner is optional in the beginner and intermediate courses. If you register individually, please let us know in good time so that we can try to find a temporary dancer. At the advanced level, registration with a partner is desirable, but not a requirement.
4. Does the dance partner change in the dance courses?
In order to learn the best possible leader or follower skills, it is important to dance with different partners so that the courses change or rotate. However, all participants are free to dance only with their own partner.
5. How should I dress for the courses?
There is no specific dress code for the courses. Just put on something comfortable that you feel comfortable in and can move around with. When choosing your shoes, make sure that they are comfortable and do not have rubber soles so that you can turn more easily. Professional dance shoes are not a requirement for the beginner courses. From the intermediate level and especially in the advanced courses, however, dance shoes are advisable.
6. How and when do I pay?
Please transfer the course fee no later than three days before the start of the course. You can find the bank details in the imprint. If it is not possible for you to make a transfer for technical reasons, you can also pay the corresponding amount in cash on site on the first day of the course at the latest. Card payment is not possible.
7. Do I have to sign a contract?
A contract allows you to participate in several courses per month at a reduced price. You also get a discount on the entrance fee for parties and events. A contract is always concluded for six months and is automatically extended by a further six months if the contract is not terminated in good time. The conclusion of a contract is optional.
8. Can I make up for missed lessons?
If you are unable to attend a course day, please let us know by email by 12:00 p.m. on that day. The missed lesson can be made up within four weeks.
9. What is the average age in the courses?
The average age cannot be determined specifically, as it varies from course to course. However, as a rough guide one can speak of about 35 years.
10. Can I change the course level after the first month?
The possible duration of participation per course level can be found in the respective course description. We recommend adhering to this participation period in order to be able to exploit the maximum dance potential of each course level. If you have any questions or are unclear, you are welcome to ask your dance teacher for advice and to be assessed.
11. Do you have dance practice nights?
We offer both regular dance evenings on the weekends, as well as various parties and events. You can find the specific key data in the timetable and the calendar on the Salsamás homepage.
